"The soft luminous rays begin their path of duty, through the ending of yet another week.....Sunday morning....the concrete pavement covered by a transparent layer of difference, the wind creating a harsh yet comforting serenade to the observant...exchanging unheard wisdom through a shrill welcome to yet an early beginning......the horizon filled with expectations of discovery and exploration of the familiar....."
As I sat, surrounded by the warm gentle scent of chamomile tea, in a state of comfort and serenity, protected by the inclement wind of a harsh winter, from the cycle of obligatory pressure, the sighs of the common proletarian, enjoying the heights of cynicism, yet gripping to the enigmatic depths of realization. 'The Workaholics Anonymous', yes we have become a society which relies on a systematic state of control, time has become a mere currency, while momentum nothing but an investment towards sanity and gratification after years of willing exposure to totalitarian power of ones void beliefs. We feel that work leads to success, that time leads to fulfillment and misery to euphoria. Yet as we travel the well-worn path of vacant achievements, we eventually realize the direction of ideologies, the consequences of our rush towards a fading destination of appreciation, and our need to capture lost freedom. It is a cycle that merely provides stability in a world of expectations, and by obeying this state of mundane actions, we loose our movement to create adrenaline. We become the sufferers of our own symptoms of delusional needs, sustained by the illusion of speed and time, while we consume all that could benefit us in a state of disproportional pride. A masochistic tendency can be embedded in us as I primeval instinct of sustaining a veneer of dignity and normality. Held on the string of a sadistic puppeteer named pride. Yes we are a society built on maintaining a temporary heaven of security, re-creating the path that on so many occasions have led only to failure after a recommended grueling journey by those considered to be normal and functioning members of the collective being, a mere facade, for a authoritarian land of ravenous hopes, consuming the blossoming flowers of realization, instead providing for the roots of corruption and exploitation .
And as we invest towards these veneers of reality, our only remaining currency becomes yet drained moments, sacrificing awareness for the price of stability, an exchange of cynicism to remain in a temporary state of securing delusions to the falling state of an illusional preacher.
Following the Patron Saint of the Lonely, to lead them towards void idols. wealth has become the religion for the advanced, while the developing lead a life of metamorphism to be exported for cheap tears to pay for worthless sins of the free world. Consumerism, the idol for the ignorant, while it consumes any chance for independence by importing only the chains of oppression.
Well I shall return to studying the Sacrament of pure tedious obligation, that's right Catholic Religious Studies.......worshipping forced ideologies to remain a figure that is cruelly moulded into the curriculum of control.....the beauty of belief....
Sunday quotes- rushed due to the obligation of studying-
"As we weave together the fall of civilization, with the height of ignorance, only the fabric of a purgatory existence can be formed."
"Cynicism can only be sustained by the consumption of hope."
"Nostalgia for ignorance can only be obtained by an existence of a sorrowful reality."
"The demise of moderate gratification is instant"
"An emaciated action can only be sustained by weary and pessimistic ideas."
- I have such a longing to write more as I have consumed my first coffee that actually CONTAINS caffein! So I had the occasional peculiar twitchiness while trying to concentrate on religion, although I'm not positive if it was the idea of studying catholic religion or the coffee (I do enjoy studying religion, just not catholic religion for 2 years, as that time could have been filled by philosophy, anthropology, psychology....but I have the obligation as it is a Catholic school...and with enough tea I can bear it...no matter how constrained a subject it is).
Ciao!
