A Forgotten Bicycle, A forgotten time

Surrounded by a vivid reverie, as I read Walden, I recall my once forgotten bicycle, covered by dust and lost time, a contraption that has no direction and proper use, withdrawn from the journey of existence, discovery it will not find, in an empty garage. This led me to the sudden epiphany that are connection to nature is slowly fading, the fabric of unity and harmony is declining as we enter a new era of immediacy , to nature we are held by only a faint string of obligation...We have abandoned our once fruitful friendship with nature, relying only upon what we can create in a selfish practice of distancing ourselves from our surroundings...rather than adapting to nature, as our neanderthal relatives did once long ago, a forgotten practice of a forgotten time/era, we prefer to gain advantage and destory that embrace we once shared wit nature......there is quite a suitable quote Thoreau writes about our relationship with nature,
"I wish to speak a word for nature, for absolute freedom and wildness, as contrasted with a freedom and culture merely civil,- to regard man as an inhabitant, or a part and parcel of nature, rather than a member of society".
-"Excursions", Walking-

This is exactly why this ignorant battle we have been having with nature, a war to dominance is completely foolish, as if we fight against nature, we ultimately fight against humanity, for we are in a hollow crevice named humanity, embedded in the core of life....nature.....

"Nature must be viewed humanly to be viewed at all; that is, her scenes must be associated with humane affections, such as are associated with one's native place, for instance. She is most significant to a lover. A lover of nature is preeminently a lover of man. If I have no friend what is nature to me? She ceases to be morally significant". -Journal, June 30, 1852-

MONDAY UPDATE-

I truly wonder if anyone has actually seen my blog entries, or am I like the little prince isolated on asteroid B612? Well if anybody does read my blog, please leave a comment to encourage me on the path of Bloglightenment- enlightenment.

On other news, listen closely for this next sentence may change your life.............................
I am introducing a BRAND NEW SEGMENT- (insert cheering crowds here)
And it is called......
What have I been doing this week?
Well since it is the beginning of the week....monday,
I only have one event that i can recollect....I do have a very peculiar memory selection,
American History i can remember in an instant even though I do not actually require it for school but remembering my day.....
not quite.......
But that single event is that I have DEFINITELY not been getting enough sleep....I must have narcolepsy or insomnia...one of the two...preferably one that has been glamorized by the media...as a MUST HAVE sleeping disorder because all the celebrities have it and that is why they were humongous amounts of make up- fake enthused tone-
Maybe I shall do what Tolstoy did when dreams did disturb him....work on the fields with fellow proletarian counterparts.....
well I shall finish this post now as I have a sudden urge to play bass.....
Au Revoir, Ciao, Sziasztok, Goodbye.....
